What is AnyRouter?
AnyRouter (anyrouter.top) is a free, community-run API relay best known as a way to use Claude Code without an Anthropic subscription. You register, create an sk- token, and point your client at the relay: Claude Code uses the Anthropic-compatible endpoint (ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL=https://anyrouter.top), while Codex and other OpenAI-compatible clients use https://anyrouter.top/v1. New accounts receive free credit — commonly $50, with more available through invites and daily check-ins — and usage is metered against that credit by model multipliers.
Because it is a community relay rather than an official provider, availability and model access vary, and it is not affiliated with Anthropic. Developers typically use it to try Claude-class models at zero cost, then move production workloads to an official or paid route. Note that anyrouter.dev is a different, unrelated LLM gateway product.
