Is Fotor free to use?

Yes. The Basic plan is free forever and includes the core editor, templates and a limited allowance of AI credits. Paid plans start with Pro at $10.99 a month or $47.99 a year and raise the credit allowance, storage and generation limits.

What are Fotor credits?

Credits are the meter for AI work: image models cost a few credits per image (1–15 depending on the model) and video models charge per clip at rates shown in the editor. Unused credits roll over while you stay subscribed, for up to five months of accumulation.

Can Fotor remove backgrounds from many photos at once?

Yes, on paid plans. The AI Batch Edit feature removes and replaces backgrounds across a batch of images in one job, which is aimed at e-commerce sellers processing product catalogues; it is not part of the free Basic plan.

Which devices does Fotor run on?

Fotor works in any modern browser and has apps for Windows, Mac, iPhone and Android. Paid plans include cloud storage with device sync, so a project started on a phone can be finished on a computer.

Fotor 是什么？

Fotor is a photo editor and design platform that runs in the browser and in apps for Windows, Mac, iOS and Android. The core editor covers retouching, filters, collage-making and a large template library aimed at social posts, product photos and marketing graphics. Layered on top is an AI suite — background removal and replacement, object removal, image enhancement, AI headshots — plus text-to-image and text-to-video generation that rents hosted frontier models, including Veo, Kling, FLUX and Midjourney, all metered in Fotor credits.

Most users come to Fotor to replace several single-purpose apps with one subscription: editing, cutouts and AI generation in one place, synced across devices. The free Basic plan is free forever with a limited credit allowance; paid tiers raise the monthly credits, unlock batch editing such as background removal across many images at once, add brand kits and expand storage from 2GB to as much as 500GB.
