No. Photoroom's free plan is limited to personal, non-commercial use. Selling with Photoroom images requires a paid plan such as Pro.

What is the difference between AI credits and exports?

Exports count every image you save, whichever tool made it. AI credits are a separate pool spent only by the generative tools — AI backgrounds, model shots, video ads and AI edits. Core tools like background removal and retouch cost no credits on paid plans.

Does a subscription include the API?

No. Pro, Max and Ultra carry no API allowance; the API is sold separately in Basic (background removal), Plus (full image editing) and Enterprise plans.

Can Photoroom make videos?

Yes, on Max and Ultra. The Video Ad Maker turns product photos into ads with actors, music and voiceover for Meta, TikTok and YouTube, and product photos can also be animated into short product videos. Both draw on your AI credit pool.
